Cannes Lions is just around the corner and Baltic Creators will be present, spotlighting the best in creative innovation and the Baltic Creators offering high-quality campaigns from 2018.

Cannes Lions announced yesterday that Jeffrey Katzenberg, the super-star icon of the entertainment industry will be honoured with the Cannes Lions Media Person of the Year award for 2019. The award will be awarded to Mr. Katzenberg at the evening Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, 19th of June.

Mentioning his award, Jeffrey Katzenberg said, “Over my career I have had the honor of working in many different forms of storytelling, from film to television to the Broadway stage, but the journey we are on today with Quibi is the most exciting one yet, as we embark on a new form of storytelling. By bringing together the very best of Hollywood and Silicon Valley, we hope to usher in the era of mobile-first entertainment. On behalf of everyone at Quibi, we’re very thankful to Cannes Lions for this honor.”

Apple will be recognized with the Cannes Lions Creative Marketer of the Year. Apple Inc. will be presented with the award at the final Awards Show of the Festival on Friday June 21st and will be collected by Tor Myhren, Apple’s Vice President of Marketing Communications.
